Takhel Leima Tengbang Lup commends Munish Meetei

Agartala, November 09 2024: Takhel Leima Tengbang Lup, Tripura (TLTL) has expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Ningthoujam Munish Meetei, president, Manipur Sahitya Parishad Meghalaya for providing some Potloi sets to the Lup.

As per a press note issued by Kh Birala Singha, secretary, TLTL, the Lup extended their appreciation to N Munish Meetei during a general body meeting held at Agartala Terou Meitei Leikai presided by Ningombam Radhika Singh, president, TLTL.

The press release added that Tripura has been facing a shortage of Potloi which in turn made it difficult to hold this year's Ras Jagoi.

However, N Munish Meetei, who is also the Director of Northeast Cultural Centre, Dimapur has solved their problems to an extent.

At the meeting, new office bearers of the Lup were appointed.

Notably, Shija Malina was appointed as the vice-president, Mutum Rekha as the publicity secretary and Hijam Sarika as the assistant secretary, among others.
