Legal awareness programme held at Phundrei

Thoubal, March 07 2020: The District Legal Services Authority in association with Legal Aid Clinic Samaram and Phundrei Awang Leikai Youth Club, under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority, organised a one day legal awareness programme at Phundrei High School, Thoubal today.

District Family Court Thoubal Judge Salam Imocha Singh, Langathel Gram Panchayat Pradhan Md Rousan, Khongjom Police Station OC M Yumjao Singh attended the event as presidium members.

Advocate Md Zakir Huissan spoke on right to education while Advocate M Swami talked about 'domestic violence and Legal Aid Clinic'.

Locals, students and womenfolk attended the programme.
