Imphal, June 04 2020:
In total contravention of the State Government's order which said that all the people who return to the State from other parts of the country or abroad should be compulsorily put in institutional or community quarantine centres, one MLA has been put in home quarantine.
One MLA elected from Churachandpur district reached Imphal today from Kolkata via Guwahati in an Indigo flight.
Saying that he would stay under home quarantine, the MLA went straight home instead of going to any community or institutional quarantine centre.
On the other hand, an Air Asia flight brought 179 people to Imphal from Delhi today and 55 people left Imphal for Delhi in the same flight.
210 other people landed at Imphal from Delhi in an Indigo flight and 121 boarded the same flight for Delhi.
