Imphal, September 02 2020: Keishampat Thiyam Leikai Development Committee today heaped praises of Nishikant Singh Sapam, proprietor of The Sangai Express, for his generous donation of a loudspeaker set to the committee.

The loudspeaker set (Ahuja brand) was handed over by The Sangai Express proprietor to the committee members in a simple function held at the office of the committee this morning.

The committee in a statement issued today said that the loudspeaker set the committee received today will do away with the inconveniences faced by them in raising public awareness and relaying messages to the people, which is very essential in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak in the State.

The committee went on to salute The Sangai Express proprietor for his philanthropic works including the distribution of essential items to around 50 households of Keishampat Thiyam Leikai during the earlier phase of the COVID-19 induced lockdown.

Ever since the Nationwide lockdown was clamped to help fight the virus that causes COVID-19, Nishikant Singh Sapam has been extending whatever assistance he can to the people, including distributing essential food items.
