Senapati, July 02 2015 :
Zelu Council (Manipur & Nagaland) in a statement sharply reacted to the statement issued by Zeliangrong Union (AMN) which was published in Manipur based local dailies on May 31 wherein it has asked both the parties to declare Dzkou Valley as "no man's land" .
Zelu Council termed the statement as completely "un-acceptable" because, there is no vacant land/forest in Dzkou area, which are shared by "Tenyimi brothers" .
Every community has its own jurisdiction including Ze (Yangkhullen), said the council.
Zelu Council (M/N) warned that any party/parties trying to encroach on one's jurisdiction will not be accepted at all cost.
The council also appealed Mao Council and Southern Angami Public Organization (SAPO) to settle their differences through the spirit of "true brotherhood" because the conflict is a setback to the traditional relationship between the two communities that has existed since time immemorial "as neighbours and blood relatives" .
