Team led by DC CCpur visits Henglep

CCpur, March 02 2021: The Deputy Commissioner Churachandpur and his team visited the sub-divisional headquarters of Henglep to access government facilities and to lay the foundation stone for at least two projects meant to strengthen infrastructure.

The official team comprising of the Deputy Commissioner Pawan Yadav, Additional DC S Khaikhopau Ngaihte, SDO Henglep Ch Somorendro, CMO Dr VC Pau, ZEO Churachandpur N Chingkhei Singh and others have began their journey yesterday and visited schools and other Government institutions that are located along the road and scrutinized the staff attendance.

During their stay at the Sub-Divisional Headquarters, the Deputy Commissioner laid the foundation stone for construction of six additional class rooms for Henglep Government School and a transit quarter for medical and educational staff.

The Deputy Commissioner also checked the dilapidated conditions of the PHC Henglep and gave assurance to repair the same at the earliest.

A team of State Health Agency conducted enrolment camp during for PMJAY/CMHT cards and the health cards generated during the enrolment drive were handed over today.

School bags were distributed to 50 girls under Beti Bachaao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme and thirty breastfeeding women were also given gift packs by the team.

The Village Authority Henglep submitted a memorandum to DC seeking the inclusion of the road leading to the sub-divisional headquarters in National Highway map.
