Assam Rifles to conduct integration training for Manipur Police recruits

The Assam Rifles will be conducting a week-long Integration Capsule for recruits of Manipur Police undergoing training at Lachit Barphukan Police Academy, Dergaon, Assam.
During the capsule, about 2,100 recruits of Manipur Police will be oriented to the rich history, culture and traditions of Manipur; and the ethos & bonhomie of Assam Rifles and Indian Army.
This specially structured Capsule will be conducted under aegis of HQ 3 Corps and Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South).
According to a release issued by HQ IGAR(South), the Integration Capsule will focus upon fostering the virtues of harmonious coexistence and inter-cultural tolerance.
The initiative will highlight the spirit of national honour and camaraderie among the recruits, as they take the first step of their Police career.
To invigorate unity and pride in uniform, several team building exercises have been planned as part of this event.
Efforts will also be directed towards imbibing qualities of espirit-de-corps and mutual trust among future personnel of Manipur Police, thereby enhancing their cohesiveness and efficiency.
A dedicated team from the Assam Rifles has moved to Dergaon, Assam, to conduct the training, scheduled from December 2 to 7, 2024.The training is a testament to the close cooperation between Assam Rifles and Manipur Police.
The training is envisaged to enhance the strength and efficiency of Manipur Police, thereby elevating it's capability to deal with the complex law & order situation in the State.
