Imphal, December 31 2013 : Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) has banned the Times of India (TOI) and Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) in the State forever.

The ban was announced by President of MSF Kh Serajuddin today.

Talking to media persons at the head-office of MSF here, Serajuddin said that the Times of India published a news report on comments given by a leader of RSS justifying the imposition of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), 1958 in the State.

The MSF has sought clarification from the Times of India regarding the report, but the editor or any responsible person of the newspaper has not given any response till date.

The ban has been imposed on TOI and RSS for their irresponsible report and comments on sensitive issues of the State like AFSPA, he asserted.
