More political bigwigs on line to join BJP

More new faces in politics as well as renowned politicians of the State are all set to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Manipur Pradesh very soon.
According to a reliable source from BJP, Manipur State unit, more renowned politicians of the State as well as new faces in politics are in the queue to join the party.
This new development in the party has come about after Thounaojam Chaoba took over the post of party chief.
The source, however, refused to disclose the names of the politicians who are due to be recruited, maintaining that it is a strategy of the party.
Nonetheless, the source assured that the names of the politicians would be announced at a grand reception ceremony to be hosted by the party officially very shortly.
The source further revealed that with a number of political bigwigs joining BJP, the strength of the party has increased considerably.
So, the party would be fielding its candidates for the Outer and Inner Parliamentary Constituencies in the Lok Sabha election scheduled to be held in 2014.All the necessary preparations have been made in this regard and two candidates already selected by the party.
Consultations are also underway with different political parties including MPP to ensure that no other political parties send their candidates to contest in the election.
However, no decision has been finalized on with which political parties common candidates would be fielded in the election, the source added.
On the other hand, another source informed that Dr M Nara is likely to be the candidate of CPI, Manipur State Unit for the Inner Parliamentary seat but it is still not known whether Trinamool Congress and MSCP would field their own candidates.
