Decks cleared for tripartite talk today

As per a notice from the Ministry of Home Affairs, all arrangements have been for Friday's next round of tripartite talk between the Government of India, the Government of Manipur, and the United Naga Council (UNC) on the latter's demand for rollback of seven newly created districts in Manipur.
According to reliable sources, the delegation from the Government of India is expected to include AK Mishra, advisor (Northeast), along with the chief secretary of Manipur, the commissioner (home), and an SIB official from the 2008 IPS batch.
The UNC is likely to be represented by its president, general secretary, members of its working committee, and presidents of All Naga Students' Association, Manipur, Naga Women's Union, and Naga People's Organization.
