UPF observes 23rd foundation day

United Peoples' Front (UPF) Manipur observed its 23rd foundation day at Nambul Mapan Keishamthong Laishom Leirak Machin today adhering to Covid SOPs today.
The event was graced by Khomdram Ratan, founder president of UPF, Ngangom Deva, secretary general of UCM and N Rupachandra, president of UPF as the presidium members, said a press release by UPF.
Presenting the keynote address, S Subhaschandra, general secretary of UPF said that United Peoples' Front over this span of 23 years have been striving to maintain a harmonious bond among the different communities in the State.
The front has been working earnestly to make Manipur a self reliant State and also to protect the unity and integrity of the State, he added.
He maintained that UPF along with the support of the public will continue to contribute in the important issues of the State for the welfare of the State.
Lastly he appealed to all to strictly follow the Covid SOPs and protocol to stay protected from COVID-19 and to contain its further spread.
