CRPF conducts Civic Action Programme

The CRPF-86 Battalion, under the aegis of Dr Vipul Kumar, IPS, IG Manipur & Nagaland sector CRPF and under the supervision of Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant-86 Battalion CRPF, conducted a Civic Action Programme at Karuangmuan Nungtek and Marangching Part IV under Noney district today.
The programme was attended by villagers and chairman of both Karuangmuan Nuntek and Marangching Part IV village."During the programme, HDPE water supply pipes and sports items were distributed to the villagers.
In the context of the Civic Action Programme, a meeting was also held with the youths/villagers of the villages.
Addressing the gathering, Saurabh Kumar Choudhary expressed his gratitude to the villagers and stated that distribution of HDPE water supply pipes and sports items was done with the aim to improve the quality of life/health of youths and also to create an atmosphere of goodwill/posi-tive relationship with the people of the villages.
Meanwhile the 32 Battalion, CRPF Loktak, Churachandpur under the aegis of Manipur & Nagaland sector organized Civic Action Programme, 2-24-25 at Sangaiprou Mamang Leikai Community Hall, Imphal yesterday.
The programme was organized under guidelines of Vipul Kumar, IP (IGP, CRPF M&N Sector, Imphal) and attended by Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant, Sunil Kumar Ranjan, 2-I/C, officers and jawans of 32 Bn CRPF and local populace of Sangaiprou Naharol Club (SNC), Sangaiprou Mamang Leikai Community Hall, Lukram Leirak Club (LLUC), Lukram Leirak, Imphal and Budhi Manjuri High School, Sagolband Khamnam Bazar, Imphal.
The Commandant, 32-Bn, CRPF distributed various sports items to the people.
Addressing the gathering, Arun Kumar Meean, Commandant-32 Bn, highlighted the inherent spirit of Civic Action Programme as a welfare measure for local people, bridging the gap between the forces and civilians, and an attempt to bring a qualitative change in the life of local public.
The grand initiative of 86 Bn CRPF and 32 Bn CRPF was highly appreciated by the villagers and extended their heartfelt gratitude with the hope that many more such initiatives would continue in the future.
