Imphal, October 27 2019:
A two-day parley will begin tomorrow at New Delhi between the Government of India, NSCN-IM, NNPGs and other Naga organisations so as to work out a solution to the vexed Naga issue.
In line with the Central Government's determination to settle the Naga issue by October 31, Interlocutor RN Ravi will hold another round of meeting with NSCN-IM and other Naga organisations.
As it is feared that the Central Government would grant something to the Naga militant groups, there is a strong apprehension that there may be serious disturbances to the law and order situation of Manipur.
As such, Central paramilitary forces earlier deployed in the State but sent to other States would be sent back.
Altogether 15 companies of Central paramilitary forces including six companies sent to Assam in the wake of publication of NRC and Haryana for the Assembly election would be sent back to Manipur within the next couple of days, informed a source.
