No home isolation in Khurai AC: L Susindro

Imphal, May 27 2021: Khurai Assembly Constituency MLA L Susindro has announced that Covid patients will no longer be allowed to undergo home isolation in the constituency.

Speaking to journalists, the MLA continued that possibilities of Covid patients in home isolation contributing to the coronavirus spread is high due to lack of separate bathroom, toilet etc.

He then appealed to all Covid patients undergoing home isolation to admit to Community Home Isolation Centres opened in Khurai at the earliest.

The MLA continued that he had also received reports of Covid patients undergoing home isolation venturing outdoors.

Announcing that he will start providing food for patients at Community Isolation Centres, he added that people who want to contribute to the cause are welcome to do so.

He also appealed to people of the Constituency to get vaccinated without any hesitation to defeat the Covid pandemic.
