Imphal, August 25 2019: The Principal of Pettigrew College, Ukhrul, KHS Soreishang, has expressed profound gratitude to the Education Minister, Commissioner Higher and Technical Education and Director University and Higher Education for providing Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology and Geography labs, 210 books, 8 whiteboards and 50 desk sets to the college.

Pointing out that the aid given by the Government will be of immense benefit to the students and teachers of the college, KHS Soreishang said that the college has a total of around 200 students and 43 teachers.

However, the college does not have a single teacher for Mathematics and only a single guest facility is available for Geography, he said adding that the college authority had already appealed to the Director to appoint one or two regular teachers for the college to which the Director assured to do the needful at the earliest.
