No water supply for 4-5 days, informs Committee

Kakching, May 24 2019: Kakching Water Supply & Sanitation Development Committee and Staff informed the consumers of Kakching Wairi Ward no 1 that there will be no water supply for the next 4-5 days due to mechanical failure of Wairi Water Supply pump as the bearing of said pump was snapped and broken and the timer of starter busted which will take 4-5 days to repair, said a press release issued by secy, Kakching Water Supply & Sanitation Development Committee.

It further informed the residents of Kakching Irum Zonal and Ward no 11 (Kakching Makha Leikai) that the pipe repairing is undergoing in full swing and appealed the consumers to bear with the committee for few more days.
