Imphal, January 24 2018: NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute, Mumbai will be organising a free workshop cum OPD consultation camp on February 10 in Imphal to facilitate stem cell therapy for patients with Neurogen.

Speaking to media persons at Classic Hotel, today, Deputy Director of NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute, Mumbai, Dr Nandini Gokulchandaran said that Neurogen are patients with muscular dystrophy, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, spinal cord injury etc.

She asserted that stem cell therapy is a new kind of treatment that can empower patients with neurogen as well as people, particularly in remote States or regions, who are not aware of this treatment form.

She asked the patients suffering from such incurable neurological disorders as well as their families to contact NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute's representatives through mobile numbers 09920200400 or 09821529653 .

She further said that representatives of NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute, Mumbai travel to various parts of the country and spread awareness through media about stem cell, apart from conducting free workshop cum OPD consultation camps.

The OPD consultation will give an opportunity to people from remote places, to consult the hospital authority without coming directly to Mumbai, she added.

Stating that the cost of the treatment ranges from around Rs two lakh to Rs two and a half lakh , the Deputy Director maintained that NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute, Mumbai also have a team of social workers to find ways to ensure that the patients in remote areas as well as those who are below poverty line can meet the cost requirement.

She informed that the social workers team has links with philanthropist organizations and social organizations and also reaches out to the Governments of the respective States so that the poor and needy patients can avail the required aid or assistance.
