Imphal, May 23 2020: Deputy Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Kongkham Robindro has started building a playground at Khordak area under Mayang Imphal Assembly Constituency.

Notably, the Deputy Speaker, who is also an MLA of the Mayang Imphal AC bought the land where the construction work is going on by consulting with the local clubs and meira paibis.

Speaking to media persons after inspecting the construction work on Thursday, K Robindro stated that he initiated this project as there is not a single playground in Khordak areas.

He also expressed hope that the project will lead to the production of several National and International level players from Khordak areas in the coming days.
