CCpur, March 22 2018: The inspection of various schemes undertaken by the DRDA, Social Welfare and Medical Departments in Churachandpur continued today at Tuibong TD Block with the Deputy Commissioner leading the team again.

The officials were greeted by similar scenes witnessed in yesterday's inspection with the Village Authorities implementing MGNREGA, failing to adhere to the guidelines on maintaining records in letter and spirit.

The BDO concerned was instructed to attend to the anomaly and some works were found not up to the mark.

The team advised the shingling works undertaken under the scheme to be replaced with the creation of a more durable assets.

The Anganwadi Centres were found no better in the block which was evident that the centres have been not functioning as well.

The construction of some buildings for Anganwadi Centres are not as per approved specification, said officials.

The DPO (ICDS) was told to submit a detailed clarification regarding the matter along with proposal for remedial action.

The only silver lining was on PMAY-G houses, which are stated to satisfactory, reports our correspondent.
