DLO meeting held at Khoupum

Noney, December 19 2024: The District Administration Noney on Tuesday conducted a DLOs meeting at the SDO Office complex at Khoupum with an aim to enhance administrative outreach in the district.

The meeting was held with the purpose to strengthen governance in rural areas.

Speaking at the meeting, DC Sharath Chandra Arroju highlighted the need for proactive and timely service delivery by the DLOs to address public grievances.

He also emphasized on the important measures to preempt any potential disruption such as blockade.

A comprehensive review of the implementation of ongoing schemes was conducted during the meeting.

It focussed on the key areas like the progress achieved, challenges encountered and actionable measures to improve public service delivery.

The event also marked the district's preparation for Good Governance Week 2024 that is scheduled to be observed from December 19 to 24 .

This year's theme "Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur" meaning Administration Towards the Village resonates with the administration's decision to convene in the heart of Khoupum Sub-Division.

The meeting was attended by SP Namsadai Peter, ADC Stiff Khapudang, SDOs, DLOs and other concerned officials.
