Tributes paid to ex-CM Nipamacha

Imphal, July 18 2022: Wahengbam Nipamacha Memorial Trust observed the 10th death anniversary of former chief minister Wahengbam Nipamacha at Wangoi Wahengbam Leikai on Sunday by offering floral tributes to the portrait of the former CM and recalling his contributions in bringing development in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, former minister Oinam Lukhoi asserted that Nipamacha was one of the chief ministers of the state, who carried out his duties selflessly for the welfare and development of the state.

He also recalled how the late former CM guided him in the field of politics, as a result of which he became an elected representative of the people of Wangoi assembly constituency.

He then pledged to continue serving the people of his constituency and the state while carrying out the unfinished tasks of the former CM.

Family members, near and dear ones of the former CM, his well-wishers and people from different parts of the constituency participated in the tribute event.
