AR felicitates Navy and Air Force Officers

The Assam Rifles felicitated four newly commissioned India Navy and Indian Air Force officers, who have earned laurels for Manipur today at Mantripukhri Garrison.
The Inspector General, Assam Rifles (South) interacted with the officers and their proud parents, said a release issued by IGAR (S).
The IGAR-S extended his heartfelt congratulations to the young achievers and wished them a bright future.
The Assam Rifles also felicitated parents of these officers for their unwavering support and sacrifices that helped shape the future of these remarkable sons of Manipur.
Among the officers were Flying Officer Indhish Huidrom, who was commissioned in the Indian Air Force on December 14 .
The officer was awarded with Chief of Air Staff Trophy for his exemplary performance in the Air Force Academy, Dundigal in 2024.Flying Officer Huidrom has been commissioned into the Transport Fleet of Indian Air Force.
His father, H Inaobi Singh, is an Assistant Professor while and his mother, Th Dhanamanjuri Devi, is a Government school teacher.
Other officers from the Indian Navy included Sub Lieutenant M Sanathoi Singh, who has been commissioned into the Naval Armament Directorate on November 30, 2024.His father, RK Thang, is an Ex-serviceman and his mother M Kamala Devi is a homemaker.
Sub Lieutenant Laishram Avinash Singh was commissioned into the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy.
He is an alumnus of Sainik School, Imphal and NDA, Pune.
His father, L Ratan Singh is a farmer and his mother L Thoibi Devi is a homemaker.
The officers also included Sub Lt Naorem Nivash, who joined Indian Navy in June 2024 in the Executive Branch.
His father Naorem Mohendro Singh is a businessman and mother Naorem Monora Devi is a homemaker.
Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) lauded the achievements of the young officers, highlighting their dedication and hard work.
He expressed his belief that their success will inspire more youth to strive for excellence and carry forward the legacy of Manipur being the largest contributor of Officers in the Indian Armed Forces among the North Eastern States.
The ceremony was a proud moment for the promising officers and their parents as also a tribute to the dedication and talent of these young officers who have chosen to serve the nation as part of the Indian Armed Forces.
The Assam Rifles remains committed towards nurturing young talent and supporting initiatives that contribute to the overall development of Manipur state and Nation as a whole.
