A sum of Rs.76 lakhs is to be allocated for upgradation of Chairel Junior High School to a high school under RMSA, but the present condition of the school is quite disheartening and it would require some more funds for its proper development.
He lauded the local MLA K Ranjit for taking up so many development works at Chairel Village, which was earlier one of the most underdeveloped villages in Thoubal district.
Education Minister further assured that the villagers of Chairel would get their share of quality education from the State Government with the upgradation of this Junior High School.
The ceremony was also attended by MLA of Sugnu Assembly Constituency K Ranjit, Commissioner of Higher Education P Vaiphei, Deputy Commissioner of Thoubal T Ranjit and officials of RMSA.
