Imphal, August 16 2013 :
The Coordination Committee of KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK (Pro), RPF and UNLF (CorCom) has expressed gratitude to the people of Manipur for responding positively to the boycott called for the 67th Independence Day celebrated yesterday.
According to the statement of CorCom, the Independence Day of India was celebrated in Manipur by deploying large number of security personnel.
The celebration was just attended by the loyalists of Indian Government such as Ministers, MLAs and officials.
The people had remained aloof from such celebration of the Indians.
The Independence of India has nothing to do with Manipur.
CM Ibobi's speech on Independence Day was a manifestation of a loyalist trying to please their colonial masters.
The puppet Manipur Government is acting according to the whims and wishes of their masters at the Centre, it said.
The CorCom also claimed hands at the IED blast in front of City Convention Centre, Palace Compound and three other places at Yaiskul, Porompat and Minou Village near Moreh, and further condemned the Ministers and MLAs for making insulting remarks during the observance of Patriots' Day.
