Chandel, July 16 2018: Kakching Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a mass enrolment programme for health card at Chakpikarong Community Hall today with the help of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT) organisation of Chakpikarong.

This program is the part of Chief Minister Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) under which people of different categories to include AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana) card holders, poor, disabled and widows would be eligible for getting cashless health protection of upto Rs 2 lakh per family and Rs 5 O thousand for Primary and Secondary care.

A total of 120 people from various categories were enrolled online and were issued with smart cards at the spot with the help of District Health Coordinator (Chandel) .

The local populace and the officials of sub-division appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for their initiative, in spreading awareness of CMHT program and for issuing health cards to the beneficiaries.
