Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club today, she said "Beginning from answering to the call of nature upto the level of fear psychosis, which have been infused in every Indian women by the routine occurrence of the incidences of crime against women, I evidently felt a lot of insecurity while travelling on the way and when passing through insecure areas.
However, I braved all the challenges and inconveniences just to ensure that women too have the every right to travel independently" .
This 24 year old woman from Lalambung Makhong Takhellamabam Leikai reached out her message to many educational institutions, public areas and on roads, including in Bihar.
She had covered nearly 6000 km to and fro from Imphal to Delhi in 12 days.
