Free spectacles distribution camp organised at Dibong

Jiribam, January 15 2022: SAKSHAM, Leima Chanu Nawa Tengbang Lup in association with Echel Club Dibong on Saturday organised a Free Spectacles Distribution Camp at Echel Club in Dibong, Jiribam District.

Speaking on the occasion, SAKSHAM Manipur secretary, Jiten Khuman stated that the spectacles were distributed to the beneficiaries who were screened in March 2021 .

Stating that the distribution programme could not be conducted last year due to Covid-19 situation, Jiten Khuman informed that out of the total 350 persons who participated in the screening, 119 persons were found to be in immediate need for spectacles.

It may be mentioned that spectacles were handed over to 119 beneficiaries at the camp.
