BSF distributes solar street lamps

Imphal, January 15 2019: N Daiho Mao, Commandant of 182 Bn BSF of Koirengei, Imphal East distributed solar street lamps to the villagers, clubs and local organisations of Moirangpurel, Rishiphung, Leishiphung, Maphou Kuki area, Nondam Tangkhul, Island, Tumukhong villages under Lamlai PS, Imphal East and Kangpokpi districts, saida statement of Thokchom Binot Singh, Second in Command ADM 182 Bn BSF today.

During the distribution function today at Counter Insurgency (CI) Post BSF Moirangpurel, Commandant of the Bn interacted with the village chiefs/headman and villagers.

A total of 13 solar lights were distributed under the civic action programme of the Bn.

The programme was organised to foster good relationship between the BSF and the villagers.

The Commandant assured the villagers of more such programmes, said the statement.
