KSA decries supply of substandard masks

Reacting to the alleged distribution of substandard N-95 masks and PPE items to health professionals who are battling the COVID pandemic in the frontline, the Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has appealed to the State Government and department concerned to punish all involved in the malpractice as per the law of the land.
In a statement issued today, KSA said that they had approached the Health Minister and Directorate of Health and Medical Service, Manipur regarding the issue, apart from filing a case to the Manipur Human Right Commission (MHRC) on May 5.Urging the MHRC to update the status report of the case at the earliest, KSA also appealed to the Director-General of Police and the Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Home to award befitting punishment to all who are found guilty, be it doctor (s), department (s) or company (ies) as per law.
