Chandel, June 13 2019: District Sports Association, Chandel in collaboration with DC Chandel, SP Chandel, CO 18 Assam Rifles,Chandel and CO 8 MR Leikun have organised a mass social service camp between BN HQ 8 MR Leikun to DC Junction, Chandel, today.

The social service camp was carried out with an aim to keep the District HQ clean and beautiful.

DSA Chandel, president, TS Chamna Anal thanked DC Chandel Krishna Kumar IAS, SP Chandel N Madhunimai Singh, Addl SP Md Syed MPS, SDPO Harendra Singh MPS, DSP, Chandel Bimonchandra Singh MPS and all the participants and security personnel who took part in the camp.

He also thanked CO 8 MR S Somorjit Singh for sending numbers of Officers and Jawans of 8 MR Leikun and Chief of Paraolon and New Khongjon, DB Prem and Moniren Moyon for joining the social service camp with the villagers.

Vice presidents of DSA, Chandel HL Lovingson Anal, DB Kowar Lamkang and Thao Albert Chothe have done a wonderful job by letting us freely use their JCB(Earth excavator) and Tata DI tailor during the camp, he said and added that the CO of 18 AR Chandel, Col Prasad Ghorepade is also praiseworthy for extending full co-operations.

WS Kanral speaker, UNC; John Khartu, social worker and David Boyes entrepreneur also attended today's social service camp.

On behalf of all concerned, TS Chamna Anal further conveyed his gratitude to all executive committee, DSA Chandel, Police personnel, MR personnel, UNC speaker Ws Kanral Anal and denizens of surrounding villages and clubs for their co-operation.
