Imphal, April 13 2019: BJP senior leader K Saratkumar has alleged that the people are getting fed up of hearing the baseless claims and lies spewed by veteran politician O Joy, who joined the Congress party even though he despised and shouted against the said party in the past.

Speaking to media persons at BJP Manipur State unit office at Canchipur today, Saratkumar said that it is indeed unfortunate and a matter of shame for all politician that O Joy made various allegations by pointing fingers at some BJP leaders.

Stating that it is unfortunate for a veteran politician to make such baseless allegations out of personal grudge, Saratkumar said that the people will not accept O Joy's claims as he was once disgusted by the Congress part but now, he is siding with the same party and mocking others.

Saratkumar then explained that it was the Congress which enforced AFSPA in Manipur and then demanded O Joy to explain why the then CM of the time made a statement that all extremists should not be spared just when the incident of Rabina and Sanjit fake encounter happened during the time of the Congress Government.

Condemning O Joy for mocking N Biren Singh, Saratkumar pointed out that Biren has done many things for the upliftment of the people of the State, irrespective of hills and valley.

Saratkumar further condemned the veteran politician for mocking Minister Th Shyamkumar and MLA Y Surchandra and alleged that when O Joy was in charge of the IFC Department, he had unethically issued numerous bills in the name of river bank constructions.
