Imphal, December 12 2024:
The All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has urged the Government to resolve the issue besetting BOSEM in the interest of students who are appearing for the upcoming matric examination.
In a statement, AMRPSWA said that the Class-X (matric) exam has to start from mid February 2025 if the previous pattern of holding the examination is followed.
Saying that registration for the examination is also set to begin from December 16, the Association added that the pen down strike being launched by the staff of BOSEM against the appointment of their Chairman at this crucial time will cause serious inconveniences to students preparing for the examination.
It then urged the Government to hear the grievances of the staff and make them resume their duty in the interest of the students.
