Thoubal, October 12 2024: The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) set up a brand new Sugnu Kendra Branch during a public meeting held today at Chingonglei Makhong Laibung, Wangoo.

As per a press release issued by COCOMI, the COCOMI Sugnu Kendra Branch will cover the areas of Serou, Sugnu, Wapokpi, Tangjeng Khunou, Tangjeng Mangjing, Khoubuk, Chajing, Kongyam, Korsantabi, Chairen Khunou, Nungoo, Chairen, Pangaltabi, Wangjing Khunou, Wangoo, Wangoo Warukok, Sadhangkhong, Kasartabi, Umathel, Kakching Khunou and Waikhong.

Notably, Thounaojam Nando was appointed as the chairman of the new COCOMI branch; Elangbam Sangai and Mayanglambam Biken as the vice chairmen; Sanasam Bormani as the convenor and Laishram Hemjit as the co-convenor (organisation).

Altogether, 24 new office bearers were inducted into COCOMI Sugnu Kendra Branch.

The public meeting was graced by Somorendro Thokchom, coordinator, COCOMI; Yumkhaibam Surjitkumar Khuman, media coordinator, COCOMI and COCOMI assistant coordinators YK Dhiren, Joychandra Konthoujam and Thiyam Sharatchandra and SRDO advisor Elangbam Sangai as presidium members.
