KFRO extends financial aid to patient, promises to finance educational expenses of patient's brother

Kangleipak Fund Rising Organisation (KFRO) extended financial aid to one Thounaojam Navy (22) who has been suffering from heart ailment and other diseases since he was nine but could not go for necessary treatment owing to poor financial condition of the family, yesterday.
Navy of Singjamei Thongam Leikai is presently admitted to RIMS as he recently experienced some symptoms including swelling up of abdomen and blistering feet, which became critical and immediately had to be admitted to the hospital.
The organisation handed over the money to Navy's mother Thounaojam (o) Nandini at RIMS medicine ward.
KFRO general secretary Naorem Johnson, while handing over the money, also assured to bear the responsibility of financing Navy's younger brother in the academic line, who has quit school to help his brother's treatment.
He continued that members of the organisation had contributed the money and added that it is one of the charity works which has been taken up by the organisation since the past.
Johnson continued that the charity works of the organisations is also based on the objective to spread the message of helping one another and looking out for each other.
Nandini teared up and expressed that the family's only source of income is from selling vegetables as such she could not provide the treatment that Navy needs.
Right after the death of her husband, the condition of the family worsened as she had to run around and take care of the family, Nandini added.
She added that Navy has always been a sickly child since he was nine and suffered from heart ailment among others and some days back, his stomach swelled up, his feet started blistering and could not pass urine properly.
Nandini expressed heartfelt gratitude to KFRO for its noble and commendable gesture and assistance while appealing all to extend help in her son's treatment.
