Padma Ratna English School student tops XLI State Level Students' Science Seminar 2019

Imphal, September 11 2019:
The XLI State Level Students' Science Seminar, 2019 for high school students studying in class VIII to X was organized today at Gandhi Memorial Hall, Imphal.
The science seminar which was held on the topic "Periodic Table of Chemical Elements: Impact on Human Welfare" was organized by Department of Education (S) (Science Unit) under National Council of Science Museums, GoI.
Naorem Sovinity Devi of Padma Ratna English School, Kakching (Class X) and Sojuila Luiram of Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School (Class X) were adjudged first and second position respectively.
Education(S) Commissioner T Ranjit Singh and Director of Education(S) Th Kirankumar graced the prize distribution function as the chief guest and president respectively.
DM College of Science, Imphal former Principal G Tomba Sharma also attended the technical session of the seminar as president.
Top 10 winners of the science seminar were feted with prizes.
Naorem Sovinity will represent Manipur at the National Science Seminar 2019 which will be held on November 16 this year at Regional Science Centre, Guwahati.
