Thoubal, August 11 2020: In continuation of its efforts to assist in preventing and curbing the spread of coronavirus, the Eteen Computerized Eye Testing and Eye Care Centre, Thoubal Bazar distributed face mask and hand sanitizer to the residents of different localities and villages of Thoubal district today.

Today's distribution marked the 15th time for such distribution programme by Eteen and was conducted in various parts of Thoubal district including Salungfam, Kairembikok, Langmeithet, Uyal and Wangbal villages.

The items were distributed to a total of around 1400 people.

It was expressed by many residents of these villages that face masks and hand sanitizers were not available to them and want the Government to look into the matter.

Apart from the distribution, the locals were also sensitized on COVID-19 and Eteen team appealed to them to take all necessary precautions and to strictly follow the COVID SOPs laid down by the Government.
