Indian Army organises medical camp at Nongada relief centre

Imphal, June 11 2024:
The Indian Army organised a comprehensive medical camp at Nongada Relief Camp, Lamlai, Imphal East today in a demonstration of its commitment to community welfare.
According to a statement, the medical camp was attended by 1378 people, comprising 325 children, 418 men and 635 women.
The event aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the local residents and internally displaced people and ensure access to quality medical care.
The camp also featured a range of medical services, including vitals check-ups, ECG screenings, dental examinations and consultations with medical and surgical specialists which included assistance from civilian doctors also.
Numerous medical equipment and goods were also distributed to the internally displaced people in the relief camp.
The Indian Army's team of dedicated medical professionals worked diligently throughout the day to offer thorough and compassionate care to all attendees which was well appreciated by the locals, added the statement.
