Nemcha encourages youths to be disciplined

It is equally important for today's youth to be a champion in not only games and sports but also in manners and discipline while it is also vastly important for the youths to be physically and mentally fit in education, said MLA Nemcha Kipgen.
The Kangpokpi A/C MLA was addressing the youths of Tujang Area while speaking at CC Hall Ngahmun village in Sadar Hills during the felicitation function of Tujang Area Youth Association (TAYA) Championship, the first edition of Inter Area Invitation Cup 2015 organized under Sir Nehlun Foundation Initiatives recently.
MLA Nemcha Kipgen said people were happy when the youths of Tujang Area bring laurels in the field of Games and Sports and asked them also to fetch accolades while performing academic tasks.
The achievement of TAYA (Tujang Area Youth Association) in the recently concluded IA Cup is visibly based on the support and cooperation of Tujang Area Chief Organization and the people including the parents and guardian said the MLA.
Challenging the youths to emerge successful, she also encouraged the youth to desist from using drugs which can destroy their future.
The MLA who attended the function as Chief Guest also motivated the area chiefs and the general public including parents and guardians to come together for the cause of the youths who according to the MLA are the future leaders of the society.
During the function, MLA Nemcha Kipgen also unveiled the Champion Trophy and distributed other individual prizes achieved by TAYA in the IA Cup 2015 and presented traditional scarf and certificates to all the players and officials of TAYA in the function.
Organized by the Tujang Area Chief Organization (TACO) with the help and support of the local MLA, the function was attended by Rev Henjangam Kipgen of P Khothah-II besides Haotinlen Vaiphei, Special Contractor and chief of S.Molnom village, Rev.Satneo, Coordinator EBCCF and several other villages' chief and Church leaders.
Prominent legend Kuki artistes Jimmy Lamboi and Micheal Luncha enthralled the crowd with their popular songs like "Lhangkichoi", "Ipidinga hepa neiti ham", "Lanu khat ahungdoh-e", "Nengboi lenna Jorhat Khopi", etc.
A grand feast also marked the occasion.
