Imphal, February 11 2025: Locals have renovated a road stretch at Langthabal Kunja Makha Leikai with the support of Dr Laishram Deben, former Director, Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS).

Owing to the poor condition of the long neglected road stretch, local meira paibis made an appeal to Dr L Deben for its upkeep and repair.

In response, the former JNIMS Director provided the necessary machinery for the renovation of the 1 km road stretch along with repairing the drain and culvert along the said road.

On behalf of the local people, Okram Sanajaoba, a resident of the area, extended gratitude to Dr L Deben for the road renovation and for giving the assurance to help improve the condition of the road stretch.
