Annual Journal released

Thoubal, September 10 2019: Yairipok Thambalnu Sahitya Marup cum Library Manipur has released its annual journal along with several poetry books written by different poets during a solemn function held at Yairipok Laimanai Multipurpose Hall, yesterday.

At the event, secretary of the Sahitya Lup, Niranjan Usham extended his gratitude to all individuals, especially the elders who have contributed for the development of the lup.

He then urged the concerned MLA and authority to do the needful to complete the construction of its hall at the earliest.

Later, a poetry books namely "Palemgi Shiyomnungda" written by Ibotombi Khumancha, "Thamoigee Seirol" penned by Raghubir Thiyam and annual journal of Yairipok Thambalnu Sahitya Marup cum Library Manipur, were released by the dignitaries.

The book releasing function was attended by MLA Wangkhem AC, K Meghachandra; Yairipok Thambalnu Sahitya Marup cum Library Manipur, president, Maibam Ibotombi Khumancha; Convenor Manipur Language Advisory Board, Manipur Sahitya Academy, New Delhi, Nongmaithem Kirankumar; Member, General Council, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and Dr Jodhachandra Sanasam; Yairipok Thambalnu Sahitya Marup cum Library Manipur, advisor, Raghubir Thiyam and retd Joint Director of Veterinary Department, Dr Maibam Rajendra as dignitaries.
