Panel discussion on Justice and dignity in Manipur

Imphal, December 09 2008: MANIPUR HUMAN Rights Commission (MHRC) in association with Human Rights Initiative (HRI) and Manipur Human Rights Organisation (MHRO) will observe the 60th International Human Rights Day tomorrow at 10 am at the State Guest House here.

Member of MHRC, Ng Nongyai, Chairperson of HRI, Dr RK Ranjan and President of MHRO, P Tomcha Meitei will be Chief Guest and Presidium members respectively at the inaugural function.

As part of the observance, a panel discussion on "Justice and Dignity in Manipur" will also be held.

Retd District and Sessions Judge C Upendra will chair the discussion and senior journalist K Madhumangol will be the moderator.

A human rights periodical of Manipur entitled "Justice First" published by the HRI will be released by Ng Nongyai on the occasion.
