Imphal, November 09 2024: As part of Swachhta Action Plan (SAP) 2024-25, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal successfully organised a Swachhta Health Camp today at Sugnu Relief Camp, Kakching district.

During the camp, doctors from various departments including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Medicine, and Eye provided free health examination & consultation to about 85 persons.

Essential medicines were also distributed to the patients, said a release issued by RIMS.

The health camp provided much-needed medical assistance, health screenings, and raised awareness about hygiene and sanitation, which are essential in displacement settings, where access to regular healthcare services is often limited.

The event aligned with the overarching objectives of the Swachhta Action Plan to promote health, hygiene, and cleanliness within the community.
