Tengnoupal DC warns against forged curfew pass

Moreh, June 09 2020: Tengnoupal Deputy Commissioner Mayanglambam Rajkumar has warned people who carry forged curfew pass.

Speaking to media persons today at a press meet, he said checking of curfew pass is being conducted in Tengnoupal District strictly according to the lockdown norms of the State.

He said except for medical emergencies, travelling to other districts from Tengnoupal District for buying wholesale products is only allowed on Fridays.

While noting the complaints about the inconveniences faced in applying for curfew pass for transporting essential items, he appealed to the people to bear with the inconvenience for some time as the items which were brought in are examined minutely and also monitored closely when it reaches Moreh town.

Drugs and other illicit items were found smuggling in the guise of transporting essential items, he added.
