MIDA Vice Chairman appeals

Imphal, February 09 2020: Manipur Infrastructure Development Agency (MIDA) Vice-Chairman Oinam Lukhoi has appealed to all to refrain from politicising developmental works in the State.

Speaking at he inauguration of a community hall at Naorem Chaprou Makha Leikai, Wangoi A/C, under Imphal West district today, O Lukhoi, who is also the MLA of Wangoi A/C, said that the last MLA Salam Joy began construction of the main building of the community hall under his (Salam Joy) Local Area Development Fund.

He continued that from his LADF, he did the veranda and pucca flooring works and expressed happiness at handing over the finished community hall to the people along with former MLA S Joy.

Lukhoi said that currently WBM work is being carried out along a 12 kilometre long stretch on the banks of the Imphal river and added that many developmental works will be taken up for the Constituency as well.

On the other hand, former MLA O Joy, who is also the vice-president of BJP Manipur, said that he appreciates the effort by MLA O Lukhoi for finishing the works and handing the structure over to the people.
