Imphal, September 08 2021: Edible items were provided to the underprivileged and needy households at Uripok Tourangbam Leikai today to help in providing some relief and alleviating the hardships faced by them due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The edible items were distributed by Spokeperson of BJP Manipur and former Chairperson of Imphal Municipal Council, RK Ranisana.

Speaking on the sidelines, RK Ranisana who is also intending to contest in the upcoming State Assembly election stressed on the need for collective efforts to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.

Though the Covid positivity and mortality rate have improved, the dreaded Coronavirus is still there hence everyone should strictly follow the Covid SOPs and protocol to stay protected and curb the further spread of the virus.
