Association appeals organisation to lift ban on school

Following the ban imposed by an organisation on Standard Robarth Higher Secondary due to the chilling and unfortunate incident of July 18 last year, The United People's Welfare Association has appealed to the organisation to remove the ban considering the welfare of the students in the locality.
A press release issued by secretary of UPWA stated that the association along with Langthabal Kunja Awang Leikai Meira Paibi Welfare Association, after a thorough and careful deliberation, decided to appeal to the organisation concerned to pull up the ban.
It said that the UPWA and the Meira Paibi association have been extending necessary cooperation to deliver justice to deceased student Babysana and will continue to provide their support.
However, the students in the locality, the teachers of the school, van drivers of the school are facing immense grievances as a result of the ban imposed on the school, it said.
