Financial assistance provided to victim's family members

Financial assistance were extended from various sources to the family members of the 13 year old boy who suffered burns over 63 percent of his body after getting shocked by a high tension wire on October 20 at Paomei colony, Sangakpham .
As a part of the financial assistance paid to the family, a function was held at Raj Medicity conference hall and ISTV Editor Brojendra Ningomba, social worker and former president of ICHAM, N Rajendro, Managing Director of Imphal Hospital, H Meipak, Senior Consultant of Sangai Hospital, Dr C Manglem, Managing Director of Raj Medicity Haobijam Rajen and Dr Chandramani attended the event as the presidium members .
The victim, Chandoi Shanoi (13) s/o Rajabor Shanoi of Leishpokching village, Chandel, currently staying at Paomei colony, Sangakpham, is a class VII student of Don Bosco .
N Rajendro applauded the doctors, nurses and staff of Raj Medicity in saving the child who was brought to the hospital in a serious condition .
Brojendra Ningomba said that it is heartening to see the spirit of humanity in the society and the will to support each other in times of need .
Haobijam Rajen, explained that the child was brought in a serious condition on October 20 after he touched a high tension wire while playing in the terrace of a rent house at Paomei colony .
He pointed out that it was due to the hard work of the hospital and blessing from God that the child survived although he had suffered 63 percent burns over his body .
The boy’s left arm had to be amputated from the wrist as well .
H Meipak and Haobijam Rajen announced to extend monetary support of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively during the function.
