The 64th plenary session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) will be held on April 9 and 10 at New Delhi with Governors and Chief Ministers of all the North Eastern States.
During the plenary session which would be opened by DoNER Minister Dr Jitendra, the NEC's annual plan outlay for 2015-16 would be finalized.
The session would focus on equitable sharing of development projects among the North Eastern States.
Construction of a Manipur Guest House at Shillong is one of the agenda of the two-day plenary session.
Officials of different Ministries would give presentations on different projects, mode of funding and schemes taken up in the North East region, informed a source.
Governor Dr KK Paul, Chief Minister O Ibobi and Planning Commissioner Vivek Dewangan would represent Manipur at the plenary session.
Another key agenda of the two-day conference is connectivity among the North Eastern States and the same agenda would be discussed with officials of relevant Central Ministries.
Niti Ayog and the 14th Finance Commission may also figure at the session, added the source.
