Fibroscan and portable Echo Ultrasound Machine inaugurated at RIMS

Imphal, January 07 2025: The Director of RIMS, Imphal, Professor G Sunil Kumar Sharma, inaugurated a Fibroscan and portable Echo Ultrasound Machine at Department of Medicine, RIMS, Imphal today.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Professor N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent of RIMS Hospital and Professor Dhanaraj Singh Chongtham, Head of Medicine Department RIMS, Imphal, as per a press release.

Speaking at the event, Professor G Sunil Kumar Sharma emphasized that the installation of these machines is a leap forward in their commitment to delivering world-class healthcare.

He also mentioned that RIMS aims to continue upgrading facilities and expanding specialties, with plans for a DM course and proposals for faculty and senior resident posts to strengthen services.
