Imphal, January 07 2022: A one day awareness cum training programme on scientific breeding of pigs and fishes was held at Phalang village today for the farmers of Phungyar Assembly Constituency.

The awareness cum training programme was organised by Mapithel New Gen Farmers Club sponsored by the vice president of BJP Kisan Morcha Manipur Pradesh, Ningreingam Kashung.

Speaking on the occasion, Ningreingam Kashung who is also intending to contest the upcoming election from Phungyar AC stated that if the empty lands of the State are utilised effectively by planting seasonal crops, it will help in enhancing the economic status of the farmers in the State which will subsequently make Manipur a resourceful state.

He further stated that today's programme was organised with special emphasis to improve the economic status of the farmers of Phungyar AC.

The farmers awareness cum training programme was attended by around 100 (One hundred) farmers from seven villages of Phungyar AC.
